These conditions are applicable from January 1, 2020.
1. Object
1.1 The purpose of these general conditions of sale is to define the contractual provisions between the Maison natale Charles de Gaulle,
Siret n° 22590001801244- APE n° 8411Z.

And any natural or legal person (hereinafter referred to as the buyer) purchasing individual or group tickets on the online ticket sales site https://billetterie-maisondegaulle.lenord.fr/en-GB/home
1.2 The buyer acknowledges having read these general conditions of sale prior to validating his order. Placing an order constitutes acceptance by the buyer of these general conditions of sale.
1.3 The Department of the North reserves the right to adapt or modify these general conditions of sale at any time. In the event of modification, the conditions applicable to a purchase are those in force on the day of the order.
2 Scope of application of these general conditions of sale
2.1 Tickets for the following services are offered on the https://billetterie-maisondegaulle.lenord.fr/en-GB/home online sales site:
- allowing access to permanent collections and temporary exhibitions
2.2 The website informs the buyer of the availability of services at the time of placing the order.
2.3 The number of tickets sold online per order and per person is limited to 9
3 Presentation of tickets
3.1 The ticket can be printed upon validation of payment. It is accessible as a link and can be edited from the confirmation email.
3.2 The ticket must have been printed by the buyer prior to the visit, without modification of the printing size, full page, on white A4 paper, blank front and back. Partially or poorly printed, damaged or illegible tickets are not valid.
In the event of a forgotten, damaged, poorly printed ticket, or containing an error in the bearer's name, the departmental cultural establishment reserves the right to reprint it in order to facilitate the visitor's procedures.
Tickets can also be presented on a smartphone.
3.3 The ticket issued by the departmental cultural establishment includes:
- the name and logo of the departmental cultural establishment
- the name of the bearer
- the name of the buyer
- the name of the service sold
- the dates and times of the service
- the type of rate applied
- the selling price of the service, in euros
- the ticket number assigned by the ticketing system
- the date of purchase of the ticket
- a barcode to allow control by museum agents
- information: Ticket valid for 1 individual visitor, not valid for a group visit, cannot be resold
4 Conditions of use
4.1 Tickets
4.1.1 Tickets purchased online are time-stamped and valid exclusively for the service, on the date and from the time mentioned.
4.1.2 Tickets purchased online allow access to permanent collections and temporary exhibitions. In the event of a delay beyond this access time slot, holders of tickets purchased online are subject to the same access and waiting conditions as other visitors.
4.1.3 Each ticket purchased online is personal, nominative and non-transferable. It includes the name of its bearer, provided by the buyer at the time of online purchase. A valid identity document with photograph may be requested. If such a document is not presented, access to the service may be refused.
4.1.4 Access to the service is subject to checking the validity of the ticket. It is provided with a barcode and is checked and recorded using barcode readers or on sight by control agents at the collection entrances. The online ticket is in no way a skip-the-line ticket.
4.1.5 The first person to present the ticket is presumed to be the legitimate holder. Access to the service will be refused to any other person who subsequently presents themselves with a copy of the ticket.
4.1.6 The visitor must keep his ticket with him for the entire duration of the service.
4.1.7 Any person who illegally reproduces a ticket and/or uses a counterfeit ticket may be subject to criminal prosecution.
4.1.8 The departmental cultural establishment declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft or use of copies without the buyer's knowledge, including within the museum.
4.1.9 In the event of non-compliance with one of the conditions set out in this article, the departmental cultural establishment reserves the right to refuse access to the service concerned.
4.2 Security measures
4.2.1 In order to ensure the safety of visitors, the cultural establishment department applies the preventive measures decided by the government for public administrations. All people must go through security checks.
4.2.2 Large suitcases and bags are prohibited. Only luggage not exceeding the maximum size of 55cm x 35cm x 20cm is allowed in the reception areas. They are not allowed in the collections and must be deposited in the locker rooms after having been checked.
5 Order conditions
5.1 The buyer makes his ticket purchase online as follows:

Choose your ticket(s).
Select the desired visit date and time using the calendar displaying the available slots. When the slot is no longer available, it is displayed as full.
Choose the quantity of tickets desired, then continue purchasing or finalize the order.
An order summary is displayed before confirming the purchase.
If the command matches, validate. If the order is not suitable, return to ticket selection.
Provide your contact details, accept the general conditions of sale and click on “payment”.
Pay for the order by credit card by identifying yourself, where applicable, according to the 3D-Secure standard by entering the code transmitted by your bank.
5.2 The “Your basket” page allows you to check the contents of the current order. As long as the payment has not been recorded, the content of the order can be modified.
5.3 If payment is accepted by the Merchant Processing Center (CTC), the order confirmation will be displayed. The buyer receives an order confirmation email and a payment proof email.
5.4 From the link in the confirmation email, the buyer generates their ticket(s) in PDF.
5.5 The departmental cultural establishment reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer who does not comply with its general conditions of sale.
6 Prices
6.1 The applicable prices are those in force at the time of the order.
6.2 Prices and exemptions can be consulted on the online sales site of the departmental cultural establishment.
6.3 The departmental cultural establishment reserves the right to modify prices at any time.
6.4 Visitors likely to benefit from an exemption must present valid and nominative proof of access to the services when checking their access documents. In the event of non-presentation or non-compliance of supporting documentation, access to the service will be refused.
7 Payment terms
7.1 Payment for tickets by the customer is made by credit card. The payment cards accepted on the https://billetterie-maisondegaulle.lenord.fr/en-GB/home site are: Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard.
7.2 The payment is validated according to the 3D-secure Standard and after acceptance of the transaction by the Merchant Processing Center (CTC) in charge of controlling the purchase authorization threshold of the payment card and verifying the list stolen or lost payment cards. In the event of refusal by the CTC, the order is canceled.
7.3 Upon acceptance of payment, the buyer receives two emails, one summarizing their order, the other constituting the customer credit card ticket (to be kept and produced in the event of a dispute)
7.4 In accordance with current banking regulations, the archiving of banking data is for fifteen (15) months from the transaction date. Following this delay, the data is destroyed.
8 Payment security
8.1 The payment site of the departmental cultural establishment uses the PAYBOX collection platform which meets the 3D-secure standard.
8.2 3D-Secure is a security protocol offered by VISA, MasterCard, GIE Cartes Bancaires in order to increase the level of security of remote payments, by adding an authentication step ensured by the holder's bank.
9 Processing of personal data
9.1 The departmental cultural establishment, responsible for processing, is required to collect, use, transfer, store or carry out any other processing of personal data concerning the customer for the management of his order, the finalization of his transaction, his information and its relations with the departmental cultural establishment.
More specifically, this data is processed by the Maison natale Charles de Gaulle in order to carry out the following operations:
- sending information and requests;
- carrying out statistical studies.
9.2 The recorded data is reserved for the use of the authorized services of the departmental cultural establishment and may be communicated to its subcontracting service providers who are involved in the ticket purchasing process. Likewise, electronic messages sent to the departmental cultural establishment, as well as the corresponding email addresses, may be retained. The personal data thus collected will be kept for a period of 3 years from the last purchase.
9.3 In accordance with the provisions of the law of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and freedoms, the automated processing of personal data carried out from the Internet portal has been declared to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL - www.cnil.fr). The user is notably informed, in accordance with article 27 of the aforementioned 1978 law: that the information given from the forms on the website may be transmitted and used by the Maison natale Charles de Gaulle, which it has in addition to a right of access and rectification relating to their data.

You also have the right to appeal to a national supervisory authority such as the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés in the event of a violation of the regulations applicable to the protection of personal data.
10 Cookies
10.1 To facilitate the buyer's navigation on the site, the seller uses cookies.
The buyer is informed that, when consulting the site, cookies are placed on the hard drive of their computer, mobile or tablet. A cookie is a file containing data, including a unique identifier, transmitted by the site's server to the buyer's browser and stored on their hard drive.

11 Processing reimbursement requests
11.1 The sale of entrance tickets to a museum or services linked to it is considered as a sale of leisure services and, in accordance with article L 121-21-8-12° of the Consumer Code, does not give rise to any right to the withdrawal period.
11.2 Tickets purchased online are neither refundable, nor modifiable, nor exchangeable, nor resalable except in the event of cancellation by the seller of the corresponding service.
11.3 In the event of cancellation or modification of the corresponding service or an error in processing the request by Maison natale Charles de Gaulle, a right to reimbursement is available after the time of execution of the service.
The buyer must make the request within three (3) months from the date of cancellation or modification of the service, upon presentation of the non-invalidated ticket and their bank details (Bank Identity Statement) , to the exclusion of any other compensation or indemnity of any kind by email to maisondegaulle@lenord.fr or by mail addressed to:

12 Disputing a bank debit
12.1 In the event of a dispute due to the theft or loss of the payment card, the buyer must immediately object by calling the number indicated by the bank issuing the payment card. In the event of theft, he must file a complaint with the competent authorities.
12.2 In the event of a dispute due to anomalies noted by the buyer on his account statement, while he is still in possession of his payment card, the buyer must file a complaint with the bank issuing the payment card. the payment card, as soon as possible and within the time limits set by law, thirteen (13) months from the date of debit on the contested transaction. The complaint is transmitted via the banking network to the departmental cultural establishment. In the case of a justified complaint, the order is given to the account holder of the departmental cultural establishment to make the reimbursement by crediting the buyer's bank account.
13 Liability
13.1 Neither the departmental cultural establishment nor the buyer can be held responsible for any non-performance resulting from a case of force majeure. The following are considered to be force majeure: wars, riots, insurrections, government or legal restrictions, fires, earthquakes, storms and floods.
13.2 Unless there is a malfunction of the https://billetterie-maisondegaulle.lenord.fr/en-GB/home site which is attributable to it, the departmental cultural establishment cannot be held responsible for any anomalies that may occur during ordering, processing, downloading or printing of the ticket, either due to the buyer, or due to the unpredictable and insurmountable action of a third party unrelated to the service, or due to computer or server failures, the blocking of telecommunications including networks and in particular 'Internet.
13.3 The departmental cultural establishment cannot be held responsible for the use of tickets purchased, the buyer being solely responsible for their use by himself or by a third party.
14 Applicable law – dispute resolution
These general conditions of sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the courts of the Département du Nord have sole jurisdiction, after exhaustion of amicable remedies.
